With the release of the PX series of Rangers in 2014 Lovells have progressively introduced a range of upgrade kits to increase the GVM and GCM. The GVM Upgrades for the PX Ranger lift the payload capacity by 300Kg to a new GVM of 3500Kg.
With the fitment of a Lovells GVM Upgrade the Gross Combination Mass (GCM) will also increase to either 6200Kg or 6900Kg depending upon model. The higher figure can only be achieved on the 3.2lt Ranger by the addition of our Australian Made cooling kit that substantially improves engine cooling. An additional transmission cooler may also be specified at extra cost. Lovells’ approvals cover most 4x4 and some 4x2 models so check with us for individual model suitability as this can vary with model releases.

NOTE: To achieve 7100Kg GCM with a 3.2lt motor requires the fitting of Lovells' cooling kit to improve water and intake temperatures under severe operating conditions. Whilst not mandatory, we also recommend the fitment of a larger transmission cooler (available in store).
Early model PX1 cars came from the factory with a 3350Kg tow rating. The Lovells upgrade does not change the factory tow rating and therefore it will be practically impossible to utilise more then 6600Kg GCM on those cars.
