Toyota's extremely popular KUN26 model Hilux was Australia's favourite ute for many years and is still a very popular workhorse for campers and tradies alike. When fully decked out for camping or with a canopy and work tools it can exceed it's factory GVM. Lovells Springs' GVM Upgrade solution adds up to 590Kg of additional payload to help out in these heavy duty situations. Exact GCM and GCM are model dependent so check with us to confirm the upgrade applicable to your model.

The kit includes new springs, shock absorbers, bushes, pins, shackles and U-bolts, to refresh the handling, stiffen the ride and increase ground clearance (compared to a car with standard suspension). Our engineers thoroughly test the kits before release to ensure the car meets all government requirements for Second Stage of Manufacture (SSM) to ensure vehicle dynamics and brake effectiveness are not compromised by the extra weight.

Lovells GVM Upgrades include all components required for the conversion and comprise parts and materials sourced from overseas and within Australia, including steel from Whyalla, South Australia.
